My Secret Garden

Looking from my back porch to the mountains.

My jungle in the desert!

Yummy, we have already been enjoying zucchini!

See the crookneck squash?

Can you see the pumpkin?

Here are the three original garden beds...pumpkins, peas, green beans, watermelon, onions, tomatoes, jalepenos, zucchini. The sunflowers are in the back and side.

The sunflowers are blooming!

I am calling my backyard my secret garden because so many visitors cannot believe what we have growing, in the midst of the city, that is in the desert! I am even more tickled when I walk out in the morning to see the overnight growth, now that I realize this is unusual. I find that I always seem to be doing things that people seem to think are impossible. Well we all know that with God all things are possible!

I wonder why people are always amazed at the blessings sent from God. You are doing things well pleasing for Him and He is blessing you for it, with a wonderful garden.

If you make a pie from a pumpkin, let me know how it turned out. :)

I luv the view of the mountains from your wonderful garden.

All the more appealing is your beautiful sunshine - sadly lacking once again here in Scotland.

Peter I too love the mountains, which is why I am in the west. I am in awe each and every day of the mountains behind my door. Oh I wish I could share the sunshine with you:-)
