Thank You

I am writing a thank you to my dear blog friends. I didn't realize that many would think it was a bad thing to reflect and pray. I felt it important to be sure what I say. Every day as a Christian is filled with situations, and to make sure we stay on the correct path we pray for guidance. So that is what I did.

After re-reading the post several times I feel comfortable with what I wrote. In the Bible it is pretty clear cut describing a sinners behavior, and pointing out what one needs to do, sometimes even using parables. Parables are comparing things, like I did with Lindsey Lohan, and Jackie from Paraguay. Lindsey Lohan needs to make steps on her own, all we can do is pray for her. By casting a light on these two women, another who may be in Lindsey's shoes may see the light.

We have very limited time to do the work we are to do as Christians. It is just as straightforward. Right is right and wrong is wrong, sorry that is how it is. And even as a Christian we may have to pay the consequences of our lives prior to becoming a Christian. God is an awesome God, but His manual is for us to use, guide, and share. Not for us to sit back and worry who we might offend. Offend God or offend man.

We must constantly share the truth in our actions, words, and lifestyle. We may be the final link in another receiving the Lord. That is an important burden that we carry. So read your Bible, study, pray, and use the gift that the Lord has given you each and every day.

As to my blogs, I will continue writing the way I have been. I know that writing is a skill(gift) that I have been given. I am going to continue to write about the things that I have been writing about. I so appreciate all the comments and look forward to reading more. God Bless You All.

Oh and my next post for McBenning School is the 100th post so stop by and see what I write tomorrow!

Jen,

You may recall I wrote the following on your Fourth's blog - and I think they are also appropriate here too:

"Never doubt the words of expression that flow from your pen, give credit to yourself for your wisdom and understanding."

Way to go Jen! I think we Christians sometimes become so politically correct that we fail in preaching the truth. It must be done in love however, which you certainly do! Love Ya'!
