Thursdays

I rarely mention Thursday activities, because our Friday activities in the home school group are so much busier.

Thursdays are a great day for parents. We meet at a park in town and uplift each other while our children play. It is not organized like Friday's gym day so it is a relaxed recess style afternoon.

For me, because my husband and I with Trish, run gym days, I miss out on the social contact on Fridays. So Thursday at the park allows me time to visit and talk about home schooling and anything else that concerns me. My kids love this because most of the older kids come on Thursday. They create the games they play and we witness great social behaviors. I love seeing the home school kids, they are truly the closest example our country has to what a one room school house was like.

So at 2 pm today I will go to the park and enjoy my friends!

Oh and in case I haven't mentioned it in any of my recent posts...TOMORROW IS FIELD DAY AND I AM JUST AS EXCITED AS THE KIDS!
