News

Well, Field Day is on Friday, and everything seems to be right on track. I am excited to the prospect of having organized such a large event. I am finishing up the details for the next few days. I think that I am even more excited than the kids.

We have nearly 60 kids signed up, and still a few of our regulars have not registered. With 60 kids this will be an exciting, competitive day. With more it will be better.

What is neat about where I live is that there is an Air Force Base here. So during the year they have their own home school activities, but for Field Day, they are coming into town.

It will be an opportunity for the kids to interact with each other.

What is "Field Day?"

I am rather intrigued as to this event. Feel sure that with 60 kids around - it will be an active and exciting day for you all to enjoy.

Field Day is where you have a variety of events(50m dash, sit-ups, crab crawl) where the kids compete.
If you scroll throw recent post, you will see the ribbons and podium that we will be using.
This is open to children of our county, home schooled, and ages 5-18.
If you have any more questions let me know.

Peter is getting an education on homeschooling here isn't he? Ilove his interest and remarks. What a blessing! Have fun Friday!

Thanks for the insight into "Field Day" - sounds really a fun day and hope you will be writing a piece about the day.

Just to let you know I have written a poem of NICU - on my site. Still emotive to me as I wrote in the early hours the previous day.

Blessings to you all and so delighted to read such wonderful posts.

Peter thank you so much for stopping by and being interested. That always lifts one up, when another is interested.
