Last Day Of Spring Break
Today is the last day of our spring break, and I am looking forward school to start back up. It has been a busy week and most of the garden has been put in , and lots of dusty corners have been cleaned.
The students slept in, and had many outings. They went to the park twice, to the library, and the mall. Today is Fun Day Friday and we are going to our home school youth activity. Of course we will play dodgeball, and a few other things. Today is also Keepers at Home for the girls and Contenders of the Faith for the boys. We hold Contenders at our house and have had 8-10 boys every time.
For both activities I am going to make cupcakes and drinks.
Another update after the activities!

Hi Jennifer,
I wanted to thank you for your comment on my blog! (o:
I enjoyed seeing your school room--it looks like a fun place to have school!

That sounds like fun. I hope you have a great day.
I like the looks and sounds of your school. If my kids were younger and if the commute weren't so long, I'd ask if they could attend. Having had my own kids in public school and teaching in a public schools, I've come to admire home schoolers who are out to do it right.
One of the reasons it's so hard to change public schools is because of the mindset of the people working there. They've learned to channel the blame. They've also learned to accept every new reading/ELA program that comes along as "the answer to our problems", even though it's based on the last reading/ELA program that didn't work.
