Show and Tell Friday!

Kelli over at" There is No Place Like Home", is the host of Friday Show and Tell. She explains it this way:"Welcome to Show and Tell Friday! Do you have a something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, an antique find. Your show and tell can be old or new. Use your imagination and dig through those old boxes in your closet if you have to! Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better!"

So far I have written the War and Peace of Show and Tell's. Today a slight reprieve... as my husband and daughter found this crookneck squash on Wednesday.

I think it is beautiful and FoUrTh is going to enter it in the County Fair next week!!

How do you like the pretty Swan that we found in the middle of the desert?

Oh I love it! God has such a sense of humor sometimes! I first thought "A DUCK" when I saw the photo!

Oh yes of course, I very much like your swan! It reminds me of potatoes that look a bit strange sometimes, too.

I am growing several varieties of pumpkins & squash this year, too. But I don't think I'll get any swans or ducks out of them, lol.

Happy S&T Friday and best wishes from Germany,
Anita

I think God probably placed it there just for you all. Anybody else would have probably said look at that deformed squash, not so with you all, you see the beauty in all that God makes. connie from Texas

Having a vegetable garden, I have come across some veggies that have reminded me of animals and such so I know what a thrill it is to find something like that:-) Your squash turned from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan!! xo

Yes, a swan.

If we could live in the USA, New Mexico is one of the places, where I would like to live.

I collect swans and that would just be the topping on the cake for me. Great Show and Tell.
