I couldn't even see the mountains during the heavy rains!
The street always fills when it rains as we are on the top of town and the water of course has to run down hill!!!
Here is my dirt yard...now temporarily muddy. All will be dry tomorrow, and I did have all my buckets out to gather the rain!

Catching the rain? I could have mailed you some! lol ;)
Great photos Jen! We are in the middle of our rainy season here in Florida. It will pour and blow for 15 to 20 minutes, then an hour later, one can harldy tell it has rained! It sure helps our grass though! Oh and we live right smack dab in the middle of "Lightening Alley"! Lightening capital of North America. More lightening strikes here than anywhere else in our country, maybe the world. I need to check on that!
So glad you got some of our rain. Thankfully it hasn't rained here on us in KC but it's rained buckets in Tulsa since we've been here.

How the rain does come down - in torrents!!
I'm sure it is a welcome relief for you all in New Mexico and the garden too.
Luv the photo's
Oh, my goodness, those look like the Sandia Mountains!
I used to live down the street from Sandia High School (my 4th house in that town)--DD's alma mater. Left there in 2003 to come back South.
I remember monsoon season.
