Profound Monday

If you died today, do you know where you would go?

I am not being morbid, I just want us all to think about the fact that many will die today. Not many of those who woke up said to themselves that today I am going to die. No, of course not. But life is precious and we take to much for granted.

So if you do not know for sure where you will go if you died today read this...The Bible is loaded with the sinful nature of man. Daily I am amazed at how vile human nature is, yet I also rest on the promise that I can't fix myself and I only need one self-help book. I am promised That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9 KJV

The solution to man's problems is this easy. One person at a time, can be fixed by the blood of Jesus. There is absolutely nothing man can do to fix himself. No self help book is as brutally honest as the Bible is. Self-help books resolve nothing, and instead rise man up as some self inflated egotistical being. Self-help books reach deep down inside man to resolve the issues, and the Bible tells us why this won't work. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 KJV For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. All. Not some, who were raised by bad parents, not even the toughest person is exempt. All of us have come short, meaning we are not good enough.

And because we are not good enough, For the wages of sin is death... Romans 6:23 KJV. So we are condemned to death, But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord Romans 6:23. ... while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 KJV For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 KJV

Remember that Christ died for all of our sins on the cross, and that salvation is available to anyone who A B C'S (admits Christ died on the cross for your sins, Believe he rose on the third day, and confess your sins to Him.)
Then when the world continues to revile in the fallen nature of man, you will be confident of your final destination.

Please reread this post, all of us were sinners once, only those of us who have received Jesus as our personal Savior will have eternal life. Don't you want to be absolutely sure of where you will go?

I pray that you will have all the assurance that you need, and if this post confuses you or you need more time/ information please email me at penofjen@yahoo.com

Have a safe day!

I copied part of this from a post that I wrote on Pen of Jen titled Anna Nicole

Jen, I am still in the mist of uncertainty as I cross the bridge of renewed knowledge. Awareness may come in time as the searching continues.

You have raised an important issue and appropriately named "Profound Monday".

The one and only plan of salvation.

Praise God He did it all. All we have to do is believe that he did and is the rewarder of them who diligently seek him. I am glad I sought him. That moment in time, spiritual birth is as real to me as my physical birth. No one could ever convince me otherwise.
